Mobile Phlebotomist - CONTRACT ROLESeattle, WashingtonAbout the
Role:As part of Sanguine Biosciences mobile function, you are
serving as the face of Sanguine while out in the field. It is
important for our mobile contractors to be comfortable and
well-versed in the at-home setting while representing the brand of
Sanguine professionally and personally. Mobile medical staff will
perform a variety of protocol-specific procedures including but not
limited to phlebotomy, vitals, physical exam, sample processing,
packaging and shipment of applicable goods, and delivery and
transport of materials per protocol. The above activities must be
conducted per clinical research standards, including but not
limited to IATA, HIPAA, and OSHA. Mobile staff must be familiar
with the protocol and procedures being practiced and must be fully
trained before performing an at-home collection. Additionally,
managing personal inventory of supplies and equipment supplied by
Sanguine will be required.Primary Duties:Ensure all field
phlebotomy and biospecimens are collected (according to established
policies) accurately and on time.Carefully label tubes for
transport and ship accordingly in a timely mannerResponsible for
the delivery of the biospecimens in a timely manner.Disposes of
biohazard containers as scheduled.Work independently and
autonomously at assigned biospecimens draw locations.Be responsible
for all equipment provided to them.Work cooperatively and fully
communicates any issues that arise.Keep the donor's best interest
in mind when arriving at assigned biospecimens draw site. Any
unsafe issues or conditions must be followed according to
established policies and procedures.Available for training
throughout the year and at any given time.Supplies to be sent to
patients home prior to visit and include:Protective Personal
Equipment (PPE)Lab kit (sent from site allows for quick TAT for
home health visit based on understanding of possible short
notice),Procedures/Collections may involve:Blood collectionLab
procedures per lab manualUrinalysisVital signs (Required to use a
portable BP device, scale, thermometer)Weight, HeightDemonstrate
exceptional telephone etiquette and be able to greet patients in a
polite and friendly manner.Adhere to Sanguine Biosciences' code of
grooming and dress code.Promote a positive image to donors,
employees, and the public in general.Requirements and
Preferences:Certified Phlebotomy Technician Certificate (CPT) or
similar depending on state law to include proof of state required
immunizations and vaccinations2+ years phlebotomy experience is
required.Pediatric phlebotomy experience is helpfulExperience
supporting clinical trials is a plusAs part of submission for
application, please provide information about your up to date
Medical records to include clearance for TB, Hep-B, and Covid-19
VaccinationOwnership of a Mobile Centrifuge (preferred, not
required)Flexible Schedule AvailabilityMust be organized and
willing to manage the supplies required to bring to the patient's
home.Willingness to collect height, weight, temperature, blood
pressure- write all this data on a source worksheet defined by the
sponsor.Willingness to wear PPEPhlebotomist must be willing to
bring extra PPE, backup supplies and instruments.Administrative
Requirements:Willing to drive up to 60-200 miles for a
visit.Regular access to automobileCar Insurance on the
automobileTrack record of being on timeOwnership of an iPhone or
Android smartphone capable of taking pictures.Personable and
FriendlyResponsive and has regular access to a working email
addressExceptional organizational skillsExcellent verbal and
written communication skillsExperience using mobile
technology.Pay:Pay is dependent on the difficulty of the visit and
distance from the patient. Below is our standard pay table but this
does not reflect the pay for all visit types, just our low tier,
standard visits.The mileage rate is included in the visit pay.There
are three (3) Tiers of Visits as defined by Client DirectivesTier
1: $80.00 USDTier 2: $150.00 USDTier 3: $220.00 USDVisits requiring
travel in excess of 200 miles will be compensated at an increase
per Visit rate, established on a case-by-case basis.You may be
eligible to work on other studies as well. The contract only lists
the standard rate but when you are scheduled for a visit for a
non-standard study the pay will be presented to you ahead of the
visit and you will be paid that amount.If you are working on a
clinical trial, you will sign an amendment to the contract listing
the visit pay for that particular trial.Sanguine Biosciences is
