lead our dynamic team at VCA Tanglewilde Animal Hospital!Job Title:
Lead Veterinary TechnicianAs a Lead Veterinary Technician, you will
play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional patient care and will
also serve as the lead surgery technician, overseeing surgical
procedures. Additionally, you will actively contribute to mentoring
and training fellow veterinary technicians to maintain the highest
standards of care within our clinic.Assist veterinarians in routine
examinations, surgeries, and dental proceduresAdminister
medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarianPerform
laboratory tests and diagnostic imagingMaintain accurate and
up-to-date patient recordsPhysical examinations and patient
assessmentEducate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment
plansSurgery prep, anesthesia monitoring, and patient recoveryIVC
placement and VenipunctureAssist in training and mentoring new
veterinary techniciansPlus more!Schedule: This is a full-time
position with no scheduled weekends, offering an excellent
opportunity for work-life balance.Compensation: Starting at $30 -
33 hr. Starting range is determined by license, skill set, and
years of experience in the field. Financial growth opportunities
available.Qualifications:Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/
CVT/RVT).Passion for monitoring anesthesia and performing
