South Sound Radiology (SSR) is looking for a full-time Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) to join our team. We are an Outpatient Imaging Center, open Monday - Friday, located in Olympia, Washington.Dayshift, Monday-FridayCome join a great team dedicated to quality imaging and excellent patient care.Compensation:Hourly range is $21.19 to $29.87 The hourly wage is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and employment status. Currently offering Monday - Friday 9:30 am - 6:00 pm & 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.The pay range listed above is base pay; this position may be eligible for additional compensation, such as shift differential (applied to all evening and weekend hours).Benefits:2 Medical plans to choose from, dental, vision, life, and LTDHSA and FSA availableA 401(k)-employer match, with a profit-sharing component21 paid days off per year8 paid holidays annuallyLife and disability insuranceFree onsite parkingLearning opportunities through professional development programsDiscretionary mid-year and annual performance bonusPosition Summary:Performs a variety of clerical functions that support the overall Imaging CenterAbility to provide excellent phone service, to a high volume of callersAccurately enters incoming orders in a timely mannerEnsures the accuracy of patient demographic, insurance information and known pre-authorization numbersProvides accurate cost-estimates and has the knowledge to respond to patient questions regarding routine billing and insurance mattersAccurately schedules appointments following provided guidelinesAbility to meet or exceed scheduling center performance metrics, with a focus on quality, accuracy, and timelinessAbility to de-escalate conflict situations with minimal supervisory assistance but able to recognize when a situation is beyond individual training/expertise and requires assistanceQualifications and Requirements:High School diploma or equivalentAbility to successfully perform all PSR I functions, to include front desk reception duties and all modality schedulingMinimum of 1 year of radiology medical office experienceKnowledge of medical insuranceMust be very proficient in computer skills, multi-tasking and working with several software programs at the same timeDemonstrates a professional demeanor in appearance and behavior in all work-related interactionsTo protect physicians, employees, and patients of Radia from contracting COVID-19 and to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, Radia requires that all Health Care Setting Workers receive a COVID-19 vaccination, subject to the exemptions.New hires will be required to present written proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a written request for an Exemption within 30 days of hire.About RadiaSouth Sound Radiology is an Imaging Center of Radia.
