In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team that will support you as you grow toward your professional goals.Day-to-day, you'll provide technical expertise and carry out your duties in a data-intensive environment. You'll also serve as the primary support contact for employee reimbursements, corporate VISA card reimbursements, accounts payable check requests, and month end duties, as assigned.   • Processing employee expense reimbursements and corporate VISA reimbursements
  • Supporting daily desk, financial operation areas, and department project initiatives to ensure coverage in needed areas
  • Primary invoice, employee and Corporate Visa processor for Accounts Payable daily desk
  • Organizing and preparing Accounts Payable invoices for processing
  • Creating and preparing daily AP payments for disbursement
  • Contacting for vendor and Concur employee reimbursement related questions, and researching requests. Maintaining updated vendor records and related information for the AP desk
  • Performing daily branch balancing, preparing supporting reconciliations, and providing balancing support for the branches
  • Processing AP check requests
  • Processing loan participation payments to purchasing credit unions
  • Serving as department record retention specialist
  • Working with various enterprise systems and representing the team as the subject matter expert on Concur, our employee and corporate VISA reimbursement system
  • Providing user guidance, identifies impacts of upcoming upgrades, supports system testing, and troubleshoots issues
  • Contacting for vendor questions and assists with GL coding questions for vendor and employee reimbursement submissions
  • Performing month-end processing and reporting
  • Completing reconciliations by the established deadline on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis
  • Providing incredible service to all levels of the organization, regulators, external and internal auditors, and outside business partners
  • Proactively seeking out process and system improvementsWhat you bring to the team:
    • Two (2) year accounting degree and a minimum of two (2) years of progressive accounting experience
      • A total of four (4) years or more of progressive accounting experience satisfies the degree requirement
      • Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel, Word and personal computer experience with demonstrated aptitude to learn new software
      • Experience with excel in creating worksheets, entering, maintaining data and creating formulas to streamline processes
      • Data entry experience in a data intensive environment
      • Experience working and troubleshooting within ERP systems including sub-modules and/or one or more accounting systems
      • Experience with Symitar, Concur, and Kofax/Batch Manager Scanning systems
      • Monitor regulatory and tax guidelines. Identify changes, research and draw conclusions of impacts, and recommend solutions
      • Understand transactional flow through various systems to monitor and ensure accurate results
      • Support month end and year end general ledger close process and financial reporting
      • Proactive towards continuously developing skills and recognizing your own limitations and learn from your experience and/or setbacks
      • Excellent communication skills (phone, in-person, and written)Bonus Points if you have:

        • Sales/customer service training
