Job Details Job Details: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent CFO to join our team in the healthcare industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned financial professional passionate about making a difference in the healthcare sector. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization, including financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a solid background in healthcare accounting and financial management. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities: Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions. Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with President, COO and Board of Directors. Study, analyze and report on trends, opportunities for expansion and projection of future company growth. Oversee the investment of funds and manage associated risks, supervise cash management activities, execute capital-raising strategies to support a firm's expansion, and deal with mergers and acquisitions. Monitor and manage all expenses within the allocated budget. Ensure the company’s financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth. Lead and coordinate an effective financial management strategy across the organization. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports. Manage and track the performance of invested assets inkeeping with policies and investment guidelines. Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out. Develop and manage financial systems/policies. Control and forecast income and expenditure. Create and manage budgets and financial plans for departments and the organization. Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations. Develop financial reviews and provide investment advice. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Master’s degree or CPA is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the healthcare industry. Proven experience in healthcare accounting, financial management, treasury, and financial reporting. Proven experience with financial statements, income statement, ledger, reconcile, A/R, and year-end close. Experience in managing grants. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Advanced knowledge of federal and state financial regulations. Strong leadership skills with steadfast resolve and personal integrity. Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning. Working knowledge of raising capital beyond traditional sources. Exceptional communication skills. Results-oriented, strategic thinker and planner. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other business-related software. Interested in hearing more?
