professional with a knack for strategic planning and a passion for
number crunching? We are currently seeking a dynamic and
detail-oriented Permanent Tax Manager to join our team in the
Accounting and Finance industry. This is an exciting opportunity to
join a rapidly growing organization where you will play a crucial
role in managing and executing tax strategies. You will be
responsible for overseeing all tax-related activities, including
tax planning and compliance, ensuring adherence to federal and
state tax laws, and providing guidance on tax-related issues. This
is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary
and benefits package. Responsibilities: As a Permanent Tax Manager,
your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 1.
Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary
federal and state taxes. 2. Manage members of the tax team as they
prepare components of the company's US federal income tax return
and state tax returns. 3. Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly
tax projections. 4. Manage and facilitate IRS income tax audits:
preparing responses, creating schedules, etc. 5. Monitor
legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the
effects of these developments to management and the tax team and
create strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation.
6. Provide support with various internal audits and special tax
related projects. 7. Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax
projections. 8. Manage and coordinate tax audits. 9. Maintain tax
balances on general ledger. 10. Prepare all tax papers on a regular
basis and handle all information data requests. Qualifications: To
be considered for the Permanent Tax Manager position, you will need
the following: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA,
Master’s in Taxation, JD, and/or LLM in Taxation preferred. 2. A
minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax manager or public
accountant role and at least 2 years of experience in a management
role. 3. In-depth knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and
all types of tax returns. 4. Knowledge of tax software and MS
Office. 5. Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems. 6.
Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop
excellent client relationships. 7. Strong leadership and personnel
management skills. 8. Analytical skills with detail orientation. If
