Job Description Job Description Senior Accountant Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid) Contract Duration: 9-month contract Compensation: $45-$60 per hour, depending on experience Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client's finance team on a 9-month contract basis. This hybrid role is based in Seattle and will support core accounting functions including month-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and support month-end and quarter-end close processes Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance Assist with preparation of financial statements and management reports Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Identify process improvements and assist with accounting projects as needed Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and leadership teams Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required 5 years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting Experience with month-end close and financial reporting Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred CPA or CPA-track a plus Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment Benefits: LHH Recruitment Solutions benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
