Description Administrative Operations Supervisor (WMS Band 1) Office of Emergency Preparedness and Response Tumwater, Washington DOH4229 Reporting to the Deputy Chief of the Office of Emergency Preparedness and Response, the Administrative Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily fiscal operations of EPR, including grants and contracts management, and budget development and monitoring. --This position also provides oversight and guidance to staff that secure funding through successful grant applications; negotiate, maintain, and monitor contracts; build budgets and spending plans; conduct sub-recipient monitoring of contracted partners; oversee strategic planning, partner relations, and performance management, and provide oversight to program and fiscal audits.-- The Administrative Operations Supervisor supervises a staff of ten (10) and has influence on a current operating budget of $25 million, though 5 funding streams. -- The Office--of--Emergency Preparedness and Response (EPR) works to improve our ability to respond to acts of bioterrorism, outbreaks of infectious disease and other large-scale public health emergencies or mass casualty incidents. --In recent years, our preparedness efforts have been tested by a variety of events: floods, fires, disease outbreaks such as H1N1 and assisting out-of-state responses such as Hurricane Katrina. -- Learn more about the position and to view the complete position description . Two (2) or more years demonstrated experience leading teams, or supervising staff with successful outcomes. Three (3) or more years of professional experience developing budgets, negotiating contracts, monitoring expenditures and other fiscal components of a program.
