You will be supporting and working closely with mid and senior level management team, performing complex, administrative and general office duties, while assisting with the day-to-day operations of a busy unit! Bring your unique perspective, passion and ability to see data privacy through a diversity, equity, and inclusion lens to the world of licensing where we serve as a trusted partner and lead the state and nation in protecting the confidential and sensitive information of Washington residents.You*will be responsible for a variety of tasks and projects with a focus on managing calendars, scheduling, coordinating meetings and facilities, preparing meeting agendas and proofreading, taking minutes and tracking action items, and assisting with presentations. You will be evaluating and coordinating responses to public disclosure requests, coordinating any special projects, assignments, or information requested of the program, and assisting with managing travel reimbursements for managers, supervisors and staff. In this role, you will also assist in delivering thorough and efficient administrative support *by anticipating needs and managing daily commitments and communication.Our ideal candidate operates in a professional, respectful, and competent manner at all times.*They are expert in organizing and coordinating tasks, projects, meetings, and events. They are a meticulous organizer and coordinator who can manage and track multiple people, tasks, projects, and action items all with different timelines, deadlines, and levels of sensitivity. *And they are savvy using Microsoft Office programs and software, and confident learning and working with new systems and technology.Please NotePrior to a new hire, a background check including criminal record history will be conducted.   • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of increasingly responsible experience independently performing complex clerical, secretarial and/or administrative assignments, supporting a supervisor or work unit.
  • One year experience with Microsoft Office software to create, format, and edit documents; create, modify, work with basic formulas and functions and print spreadsheets.
  • One year of experience scheduling and planning meetings using electronic calendars, managing and tracking assignments, reception, file maintenance and coordination with outside facility vendors.
  • One year of experience, proven ability to compose business correspondence from drafts, memos, notes or other instructions, take and transcribe meeting minutes, edit and proofread others' work to ensure accuracy and completeness.Preferred Qualifications_Applicants who also possess the following may receive additional consideration by the hiring manager: _
    • Experience interpreting laws, rules, and regulations.
    • One year of experience with processing payments for invoices, bookkeeping, accounting, making travel arrangements, and general administrative work.
