Product Business - Technical Program Manager (The Boston
Consulting Group, Inc. - Seattle, WA): In collaboration with
product managers, senior partners, area experts, and technical
architects, provide total program oversight for pricing catalyst,
BCGs enterprise grade, cloud-based, big data analytics platform
that hosts pricing applications designed to enhance our growth
plan, scalability, digital agenda, and the success of our project
teams. Specific duties include: provide software development
technical leadership and oversee all aspects of project execution;
apply lean and Agile approaches to perform product development and
delivery; prioritize customer feedback, bug fixes, and the feature
roadmap for rapid product iteration; facilitate the gathering,
prioritizing, and documentation of technical requirements;
collaborate with project teams to create software architecture,
design, and specification documentation; develop prototypes for
demonstration and testing purposes; lead creation of operational
processes, service level agreements, and interface requirements;
collaborate with key stakeholders to determine business needs and
requirements; research and recommend technical and non-technical
solutions for accelerating the development and enhancement of
products; conduct technology evaluations to assess features and
ensure alignment with business requirements; communicate and align
with clients to facilitate product deployment; support the
development and implementation of launch plans to roll out
products; and identify, research, and resolve system technical and
non-technical problems. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in
Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field
(willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus seven (7)
years of experience performing application and software development
in a client facing role, which must include at least two (2) years
of experience leading technical project teams. Must also possess
the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable
to this section): (i) leveraging commercial and open source cloud
software development tools and frameworks including UI and backend
frameworks, data modeling software, and orchestration tools; (ii)
performing cloud computing and utilizing various cloud computing
platforms including AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure; (iii) using
software product roadmaps and solution architecture to design
end-to-end solutions; (iv) leading and mentoring onshore and
offshore development teams using Agile software delivery processes;
(v) designing and delivering software solutions that utilize cloud
technologies, Big Data, scalable service-oriented architecture,
micro-services architecture, monolithic services architecture,
visualization/analytical platforms, and advanced user interfaces;
(vi) utilizing Agile methodologies and tools to deliver software
solutions; (vii) developing and executing product delivery plans
that prioritize clients technical and non-technical requirements
and result in successful, high quality releases with minimal
defects; and (viii) coordinating multiple work streams across data
sourcing, data preparation, development, quality assurance,
testing, and software delivery. Domestic/international travel
required (up to 25%) based on client/company need. M-F, 9:00 a.m.
