Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract
opportunity is ideal for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists with
experience supporting elementary school students in grades K-5.
Located in Tacoma, WA, this role involves providing specialized
speech and language therapy services within a school setting.
Multiple openings are available serving students from kindergarten
through 12th grade, with the possibility of Extended School Year
(ESY) assignments. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver individualized
speech and language therapy to K-5 students, with potential
assignments across all K-12 grades - Assess, diagnose, and develop
treatment plans tailored to students' communication needs -
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to
support student progress - Maintain accurate documentation and
progress reports in compliance with school requirements -
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute to
students' educational goals Desired Qualifications: - Valid state
licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist - Experience working
with elementary-aged students in a school environment - Strong
knowledge of speech and language disorders, intervention
strategies, and assessment tools - Excellent communication and
collaboration skills - Flexibility to support various grade levels
and potential ESY sessions This role offers competitive
compensation within the range of $36.52 to $50.62 per hour,
