Our business is comprised of two reporting segments, Electrical
Raceway and Mechanical Products & Solutions, with total annual
revenue of $1.9 B. Electrical Raceway has 2 business units, Cable
Solutions and Conduit & Fittings, totaling just over $1.4B in
annual revenue. Mechanical Products is a stand-alone business unit
with about $500M in annual revenue.
Our global locations include 66 manufacturing and distribution
centers in the US, Canada, the United Kingdom, China, Australia,
and New Zealand with over 4,000 employees.
We are currently searching for a Data Center Sales Leader.
Reporting to Senior VP of Electrical Sales, this person will be
responsible for working across Atkore businesses involved in Data
Centers and developing a vision for how to better go-to-market for
these opportunities, including initial scope of offerings. Success
in this position is determined by developing and implementing a GTM
strategy resulting in incremental sales.
The ideal candidate will have a 10+ years of commercial sales
experience. Experience in lean manufacturing or business
system-based company is a plus.
Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Identifies suitable strategies and objectives for Atkore to grow
in the North America Data Center market.
* Demonstrates differentiated growth to data centers based on
vision and scope
* Regularly meets with leadership to review plans and results,
including potential ramp-up of efforts.
* For selected opportunities, acts as the single point of contact
in Atkore for coordination and focus on the enterprise approach to
Data Centers, coordinates cross-project and cross company
* Develops Sales plans with targeted accounts and is accountable to
coordinate appropriate resources to execute established goals.
* Targets and develops relationships and specification position
with Data Center accounts, acting in partnership with Atkore sales,
businesses, agents and channel as appropriate.
* Collaborates with appropriate Atkore resources to establish
pricing & channel strategy to effectively bundle associated
* Leads the process from identification of project opportunities to
realization of successful project completion.
* BS or BA degree required, MBA or MS preferred
* Ten or more years of Sales or other relevant commercial
* Solid experience interacting with both internal and external
* Solid technical background as well as strong sales mentality
* Ability to earn respect based on plans & performances versus
* Experienced commercial leader with industry experience in Data
Center channel partners, products, applications and
* Experience in formulating, organizing, managing and monitoring
inter-connected complex construction projects
* Results-driven and willing to work through details and projects
with sustained focus
* Proven ability to lead courageously, to drive large
cross-functional teams to success in challenging situations.
* Must works well with others - inspires trust and open
communication amongst team members and peers.
* Proven ability to influence at all levels of the organization
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, including strong
active listening skills.
* Proven ability to analyze, interpret and draw meaningful and
accurate conclusions from data.
* Proven ability to conduct complex financial analyses, to develop
financial models and interpret P&L statements.
* An energetic, resourceful and hands-on individual with a strong
bias for action, someone who commits himself/herself fully to
stretch goals and who is dedicated to developing and delivering
