The PM is responsible for exercising leadership, maintaining high morale, and directing the performance of all security personnel assigned to the contract. The PM will communicate with all Site Supervisors, Shift Supervisors, Security Officers, and the client frequently regarding overall contractor performance, status of contract, and operational issues that are systemic across the contract or specific to the site. Duties and Responsibilities: Required to follow all company personnel and safety policies and perform all assigned duties in a safe work manner.Administers instructions to security personnel assigned to the site and assures that all officers are familiar with the facility and their duties.Will promptly notify the chain-of-command of all unusual, emergency, and/or significant situations/factors concerning security personnel at the site. Will verify that all officers receive and understand new, changed, or special instructions.Conduct investigations into security matters and report findings to chain-of-command and the client.Is accountable for the proper use and maintenance of all equipment used at the site by assigned officers.Will accurately maintain all field file records of employees assigned to the site. These records may include, but are not limited to, time and attendance, disciplinary actions, promotions, demotions, commendations, status/payroll change reports, personnel files.Manages the staffing of posts at the site in order to ensure complete coverage. This includes, but is not limited to, coverage for vacations, illness, and call-offs.Will review and ensure clarity, completeness, accuracy, and legibility of all written reports, timesheets, & logbook entries.Keeps post orders & operations manual accurate and up-to-date.Is accountable for conducting a quarterly training exercise.Takes charge and directs security personnel in any unusual or emergency situations requiring immediate and necessary action.Maintains daily liaisons with contract officials to ensure the terms of the contract are being met to the client's satisfaction and expectation.Has complete authority over assigned personnel to ensure the accomplishment of quality work.May be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.Oversees and directly or indirectly supervises all security force officer personnel on the contract siteOther duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.) Minimum of a BS/BA degree in a law enforcement related discipline. Equivalent education/experience is applicable.Ten (10) years--- experience in security or law enforcement administrative and substantial operations experience in the armed forces, security, police, or civilian equivalent or related field, three (3) of which is at the supervisory level.Three (3) years of progressively responsible general experience gained in analytical decision making and administrative work and activities. Three (3) years of specialized experience directly related to the work performed in physical security or law enforcement. Must possess and maintain a valid state driver---s license.Must obtain and Maintain National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI) EligibilityIn compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge and/or experience in project management and business rules.Knowledgeable in the application of intrusion detection devices and electronic security systems.Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, Microsoft Office Suite (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook), and Adobe Acrobat Pro.Strong personnel management skills; excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.Superior knowledge, analytical, persuasion, and problem-solving skills relative to health, safety, environmental, and business matters.Ability to manage multiple, high priority tasks simultaneously.Capable of assimilating and critically evaluating information. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions.
