Learn More About Our Mission at www.biolifeplasma.comAbout the Sr. Operations Manager Trainee Role in the Sr. Operations Manager Readiness Program ** We are looking for manager candidates to fill future plasma center manager positions at various locations within the state of California**BioLife is looking for experienced individuals to enter our expedited Sr. Operations Management Readiness Program, followed by advancement into the Plasma Center Operations Manager role. Plasma Center Managers oversee all operations and compliance, at one of our BioLife Plasma Center locations within the US. Through the Sr. OMT Program, you will have the unique opportunity for hands-on learning in our dynamic work environment. The program prepares experienced people leaders to manage all operational aspects of our high-volume blood-plasma collection facilities. Our expedited program is designed to support BioLife's rapidly expanding network of collection centers.Program Highlights:o The Program will be for a period of approximately 6 months. After completion of the training program, Sr. OMTs will have an additional 12 months to establish a BioLife Plasma Center Manager position.o Company-paid travel (includes flying) up to 90%-100% of the time for duration of training program and relocating upon completion of programo Hands-on experience, mentorship and networking within various BioLife Plasma Services locations across the United Stateso Develops and promotes Sr. OMTs into open Plasma Center Operations Manager roles, nation-wideo Home every other weekend. Relocation not required until Plasma Center Operations Manager promotion obtainedo High potential to open and operate brand-new BioLife Plasma Services location after program completiono Relocation not required until Plasma Center Operations Manager promotion obtainedPrimary Responsibilities of the Sr. OMT role include:o Drives personal learning and development with the goal of supervising all operationsof a plasma collection facility. This includes learning about and maintainingcompliance with GDP, GMP, SOP, CfR, CLIA, OSHA, and all other federal, state,local and company regulations related to safety, purity, potency and quality ofproduct, as well as employee and donor safety.o Assists in center production as needed, to both ensure ongoing compliance andefficient business operations and to obtain & maintain production knowledge &proficiency.o Focuses heavily on incorporating personal leadership skills to ensure continuedplasma donor retention, high customer service levels, employee engagement,employee retention, and an environment of teamwork.o Seeks feedback and coaching from managers and partners.o Engages in the management and execution of all aspects of staff relations asappropriate. Includes staff communication, providing ongoing feedback toemployees, developing employee talent to support company growth, performancereviews and compensation, planning for staff recruitment and assisting inmanagement of the recruiting process.o Works toward obtaining promotion to Plasma Center Operations Manager position byway of networking and relationship-buildingo May provide operational support in the BioLife network and conduct managementtraining.Education- Associates or Bachelor's degree highly desirableQualifications, Skills & Competencies for this role:o Proven experience leading medium to large-scale teams (20+ direct reports) forresults (approximately 5+ years)o Experience working with SOPs, GDP, GMP, CLIA, FDA or within another highlyregulated industry a pluso Must have excellent interpersonal, leadership, organizational and technical skills.o Ability to attract, retain, motivate and develop a team of diverse individuals.Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, problem-solve and communicate withsenior management.o Requires weekend and extended work periodsOther Important Requirements:o During the program, trainees will be required to work out of various BioLife PlasmaServices locations.o Must maintain a valid driver's license for the entire duration of the program.o Production environment requiring the ability to walk and stand for the entire workshift.o Requires frequent leaning, bending, stooping, crouching, and reaching above theshoulders and below the knee.
