Carlsbad, CA or Frederick, MD**How will you make an impact?**The
Product Manager is a global position that will manage products in
the HEK293-based Protein Expression business in the Bioscience
Division of Thermo Fisher Scientific. The incumbent will be
ultimately responsible for the revenue, margin, customer happiness,
and market share objectives.**What will you do?**+ Handle the life
cycle of the existing product portfolio. Responsibilities include
three-year product line strategies, pricing /margin optimization,
and management across the customer value continuum.+ Serve as
product and market champion with internal partners and directly
with customers.+ Analyze and interpret financial reports regarding
product sales as well as forecast for assigned products.+ Lead all
product management activities of day-to-day operations and champion
cross-functional activities to improve overall product line
performance including revenue growth, profitability, margin
improvement, and/or cost reduction.+ Develop long-range product
strategies and guide fiscal planning for future positioning,
growth, and evolution of the product platform.+ Generate competitor
product analyses, conduct voice of customer (VOC) and recognize
technology drivers to identify differentiators and/or market
gaps/opportunities to champion the development of the next
generation of innovative products within the portfolio.+ Lead all
product management aspects associated with new product
introductions (NPIs) including product definition, product
development, product positioning, pricing, profitability targets,
market introduction, and sales training. They own customer and
financial success of the NPIs.+ Co-lead portfolio strategies for
the short- and long-term financial success and growth of the
business.+ Work collaboratively with other product managers and key
functional collaborators across the organization.**How will you get
there?****Education**Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or similar
field, Master's highly preferred.**Experience**+ 5+ years of proven
ability in product management, product development, marketing, or
business development.+ Experience with financial modeling and data
analysis skills. Ability to build and analyze models to forecast
and track results.**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:**+ Position may
require Covid-19 vaccination and/or routine testing, per client
discretion. As a requirement to be onsite at Thermo Fisher
Scientific this position requires vaccination status disclosure
upon employment.+ Knowledge of the Bioscience industry and/or
biological sciences. Expanded knowledge base in protein expression
highly preferred.+ Passion and driven to support the execution of
strategic opportunities, set daring objectives, and drive key
business priorities.+ Ability to work autonomously and work on
projects of moderate scope and complexity.+ Strong communication
(written and verbal), interpersonal, collaborative, and
planning/prioritization skills.+ Ability to work well in a matrix
and fast-paced environment+ Ability to travel up to 25%, including
