About the role

Zillow is looking for a Senior Manager, Debt Management to provide debt management support to the VP of Capital Markets for Zillow Home Loans ("ZHL"). This role will assist in the set-up, review, and ongoing management of all mortgage warehouse facilities as required. This role will interact with FP&A, Accounting, Treasury and ZHL operational teams to optimize warehouse borrowing activities and provide analytics and reporting.

You will:

* Stay in sync with the internal and external reporting and payment deadlines related to the accrual, allocation, and recording of interest and other financing costs related to debt, including administration of required external debt service payments.
* Communicate and work with banks, third party vendors, internal and external counsel on issues related to various components of the debt portfolio, and legal guidance as it pertains to compliance and contract negotiations. Participate as part of the working group for all debt creation.
* Review and assist in contractual negotiations of new debt facilities.
* Build and maintain a cash flow model that accurately predicts future funding requirements and investor loan settlements.
* Supervise and reconcile all reserve accounts in order to maintain adequate funding levels to support financing activities.
* Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A and Legal to ensure, Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual compliance of all covenants, regulations, and notifications per the terms of each warehouse agreement.
* Prepare annual debt service budget. Perform extensive analysis and prepare documentation to support budget projections.
* Ensure warehouse utilization is appropriate within use constraints and applied timely. Track inventory aging and work with operational teams to address aged inventory.
* Support long term capital markets activities.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures. Develop and monitor Debt operational policies. Manage Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for Debt operations.
* Develop and maintain complex Excel and Google Sheets workbooks to support various departmental short term needs to track product, efficiency, and performance.
* Partner with the ZG Corporate Treasury team to ensure adequate communication and transparency related to ZHL capital activities, including monthly updates to the enterprise debt dashboard report.
* Assist in the implementation and administration of mortgage warehouse management software to optimize warehouse utilization.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.

In Colorado, the standard pay range for this role is $112,400.00 - $179,600.00 Annually. This range is specific to Colorado and may not be applicable to other locations.

Who you are

* Finance, accounting or economics degree required; MBA or graduate degree preferred
* Five or more year of experience in a treasury management and/or capital markets capacity
* Diligent, analytical, and accurate
* Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to distill large amounts of data into coherent summary written and oral presentations that clearly convey the key message including priority and risk tailored to all levels of the company
* Proficient with Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint and/or Google Sheets/Slides applications
* Experienced with technology and data solutions, across platforms
* Well organized and capable of balancing multiple concurrent time sensitive projects
* Self-motivated and requiring minimal guidance
* Ability to interact optimally with a broad range of Zillow Group employees as well as external counterparties

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.
