As the Associate Director of Risk Adjustment and Quality Strategy, you will collaborate with health plans and provider organizations to drive performance improvement and engage cross-functional stakeholders to meet strategic performance objectives for risk adjustment and quality improvement.**_Strategy Lead:_** + Identify and prioritize key quality and risk adjustment performance indicators critical to our Partners success under its performance based payment programs (e.g., achieving > =4 star rating or higher for MA plans, improving coding accuracy and documentation rates, etc.)+ Develop and implement a risk adjustment and quality improvement short- and long-term strategy specific to each Partners local priorities ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements+ Prepare and present reports to leadership, committees, and other stakeholders; tailoring the presentation to the appropriate audience+ Identify education opportunities and conduct trainings on a range of risk adjustment or quality improvement topics including coding, documentation, workflow, integration, etc.+ Serve as an Evolent Subject Matter Expert to internal and external stakeholders across a specified line of business and programs (i.e., Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Exchange, Commercial insurance)+ Maintain knowledge of current professional, regulatory, and industry trends to consult with internal and external stakeholders on standards and best practices+ Develop and contribute to content that promotes our risk adjustment and quality strategy expertise for both internal and external audiences**_Account Management:_** + Build relationships with all internal and client leaders, building credibility and garnering support for network campaigns+ Coordinate Partner specific communications, timelines, implementations, and deliverables in collaboration with the central risk adjustment and quality operations team+ Collaborate with the central risk adjustment/quality operations and analytics teams to monitor and track performance, escalate risks and propose solutions to cross-Partner issues+ Prepare, QA, and deliver reporting developed by our analytics team to key stakeholders+ Deliver on Organization and Partner goals in a highly matrixed work environment+ Manage partner satisfaction with risk adjustment and quality services**The Experience You Need (Required):** + Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience+ 3+ years of experience with analyzing risk adjustment and quality performance data+ 3+ years of management or progressive leadership experience in Managed Care, Payer/Provider/Health Plan and/or Health system+ Client management experience, having demonstrated an ability to communicate effectively and partner with client executives with the ability to engage, inspire, build credibility and engender trust across all levels of an organization+ Experience with payers and billing including knowledge of ICD-10 coding and HEDIS guidelines+ Ability to help design effective solutions to work collaboratively with Partner executives+ Demonstrated track record for setting strategy goals and acting on key performance indicators+ Ability to travel to Partner sites up to 25% of the time**Finishing Touches (Preferred):** + Masters degree in a health-related field+ Mid-professional level leadership experience in a large, complex and integrated health care delivery system+ Demonstrated leadership experience in developing and maintaining excellent relations with physicians and staff at all levels**Technical Requirements:** Currently, Evolent employees work remotely temporarily due to COVID-19. As such, we require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.
