The role focuses on transactional support of circuit and facility (datacenter) suppliers as well as consistent communication with those vendors to maintain the overall relationship. This person will support both GIN customer and network backbone pricing requirements alike while working with management to prioritize business and information needs. They are responsible for developing and maintaining a close working relationship with all NTT affiliates and departments as dictated by the needs of the business. The Infrastructure Sourcing Manager I role is a remote position requiring occasional in person meetings.

Establishes and monitors service level agreements.

Audits contractual compliance solicits feedback from users and communicates scorecards to vendors.

Coordinates lifecycle activities such as incident management, compliance audits, software licensing, and software/hardware upgrades and maintenance.

Performs cost and spend analysis to identify cost-effective solutions for existing and future contracts.

**Working at NTT**

To perform this job successfully the candidate must have experience in telecommunications procurement including; facilities, leased private line, submarine capacity, dark/dim fiber, and IRUs. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge and ability needed to fulfill this role and the candidate will be required to perform each essential function satisfactorily. + Provide Sales support and real time assistance with customer commercial needs

+ Tracking and reporting of quote volumes and quote to order conversion ratios

+ Manage full life cycle of vendor relationship, including that of our strategic partners, to include commercial negotiations, performance management, asset tracking, and on/off-boarding

+ Facilitate proactive negotiations for costs reduction of existing and new services that will positively affect the overall business unit revenue goals

+ Partner with Capacity and Architecture Planning, and IP Engineering teams to ensure proper understanding of requirements and technical feasibility to support infrastructure needs

+ Infrastructure Sourcing Manager I will request commercial proposals from assigned vendors for network requirements; input into inventory system, organize and distribute internally to requestor for review and vendor recommendations

+ Request Service Order Form and/or contracts from assigned vendors, validate for pricing and commercial accuracy and responsible for inter-departmental transfer to Infrastructure Implementation team for activation

+ Be familiar with network KMZs

+ Act as liaison for escalation of issues identified by internal departments for supplier list

+ Assist in coordination of large Request For Proposals (RFPs) globally

+ Build and deliver Quarterly Business Reviews for assigned suppliers and facility providers

+ Adhere to inter-departmental service level agreements between departments

+ Develop and maintain vendor card or console to manage contracts, contacts, marketing material, metric compliance, pricing tools, on-net build lists, and product information

+ Master Service Agreement and Service Level Agreement contract negotiation familiarity

+ Ability to work outside of the standard US 9am - 5pm business hours

+ Ability to travel, domestic or international, up to 20 percent of the time as required to support interactions with vendors and internal organizations

+ Miscellaneous duties and responsibilities to support company goals for continued growth of GIN

+ Participates and successfully completes all companywide mandates/training in a timely manner

+ Complies with all Ethics and professional standards

+ Complies with all NTT corporate and organizational security policies and guidelines

+ Abides by all NTT policies and procedures

**Qualifications (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities) Core Competencies**

+ Self-motivated and proficient in time management

+ Ability to establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

+ Ability to deal tactfully with vendors, suppliers, and contractors who provide a broad spectrum of products and services

+ The ability to act independently yet in alignment with GIN and Company goals to achieve optimal outcomes for a range of stakeholders

+ Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time in a fast-paced environment

+ Must be coachable, ask qualifying questions, and display characteristics for technical aptitude

+ Display excellent persuasion and influence ability

+ Has analytical ability to assess business situations and create contingency plans

+ Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to work within established processes while managing projects with proficiency and timeliness

+ Ability to interface with all levels of executives, employees, clients and vendors

+ Strong Computer skills, including MS Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and familiarity with Google Earth and KMZ file types

**Education and Experience**

To perform this job satisfactorily, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required in this position. These preferred levels of education and experience are necessary to successfully perform the principal responsibilities of this position:

+ 3-5+ years' experience in transport and facility (datacenter) vendor management

+ Demonstrated contract/supplier management experience preferably in a multi-national environment

+ Experience with conducting vendor Business Reviews

+ Strength in negotiations, cost price analysis and purchasing procedures is essential

+ Experience with basic project management functions, which tie into life cycle of circuit or data center vendor management
