Responsibilities
- Oversees and coordinates multiple projects across the team to
ensure each clients deliverables are met in a timely manner
- Investigates and analyzes clients processes, recommends
solutions to meet the clients needs, leads training for clients,
manages implementation of new processes and software, and provides
ongoing maintenance and support to clients
- Monitors client requests and recommends solutions to increase
team efficiency and rapid responses to meet client needs
- Manages customer relationship through service delivery and
contractual compliance
- Manages adherence and performance to the customer contract
- Prioritizes projects and daily work of the teams to align with
the goals of the customer and firm
- Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones, and
required tasks
- Updates portfolio-level project status summaries weekly for IT
and business managers and external customers
- Utilizes reporting tools to analyze actual and planned resource
metrics and provide visibility of resource utilization and
availability to IT and business management.
- Performs metric analysis to understand areas of process
improvements and/or automation opportunities
- Communicates project issues, including timing, budget,
resources, scope and more, to IT and business management, project
sponsor, and external customers.
- Provides leadership and motivation to project team members
throughout the project life cycle
- Adheres to Project Management Institute project management
practices and methodologies
- Provides leadership in planning and managing systems operations
in support of customers business
- Establishes systems performance objectives and ensure service
level objectives are met
- Directs risk evaluation and remediation activities
- Manages and provides oversight of after-hours maintenance and
operational support
- Manages the release of customer facing changes in coordination
with the customer requirements
- Manages resource requirements to ensure appropriate balance
between tactical and strategic demands
- Works with IT peers, PMO and business leaders to develop and
implement corporate IT vision and strategy to support business
objectives
- Promotes Innovations and identify areas for improvements and
business or operational optimization
- Improves productivity by understanding the customer needs
- Oversees proof of concept engagements and evaluate next
generation architectures and solutions
- Stays current of emerging technologies and trends in best
practices to make informed recommendations for new tools,
technologies, and services
- Interface with vendors for product information, maintenance,
billing, contract issues, and the timely resolution of escalated
problems. Align and respond to the business
objects/requirements
- Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer
satisfaction and strengthen customer relationships by interacting
proactively and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Effectively engages colleagues and peers in the development and
execution of strategies and work plans, and effectively
coaches/leads other colleagues to do the same
- Performs all duties in accordance with safety, security and
compliance rules, regulations, and best practices
- Provides after-hours client support and travel as
requiredQualificationsEducation: Bachelor's Degree in a related
field: Master's degree preferredExperience: 5+ years of experience
managing complex, multi-year IT projects Desired but not required,
3+ years of experience in state government assitance programs
(Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, etc.)Certification: Active Project
Management Certification (PMP)Required Skills:
- Ability to analyze project needs and determine resources needed
to meet objectives
- Conceptual knowledge of information technologies and
methodologies
- Strong project management skills, which includes experience in
organizing, planning, and executing medium-scale projects involving
internal personnel, contractors, and vendors from vision through
implementation
- Ability to work with functional groups and different level of
employees to effectively and professionally achieve results
- Strong follow-up skills: ability to organize applicable
timelines and follow up with internal and external customer
needs
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the
ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and
effectively
- Strong organizational skills: ability to accomplish multiple
tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective
prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced
environment
- Strong track record of building and maintaining solid
relationships with internal and external customers and vendors
- Self-motivated; able to work independently to complete tasks
and respond to requests and to collaborate with others to utilize
their resources and knowledge to identify quality solutions
- Strong analytical skills, and ability to organize and plan work
efficiently within set time limits
- Excellent ability to effectively communicate project status,
issues and information to the client and project team
- Strong Microsoft Office applications skills (preferably with
Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and

Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors
including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role,
skill set, and level of experience.As required by applicable law,
PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for
this role: $79,315-$165,000 . In addition, PCG provides a range of
