What You Will AchieveAs part of the Biostatistics team, you
arerecognizedas a subject matter expert withspecializedknowledge
and skills in your work.Youwill design, plan and execute
biostatistical components of plans for research and development
projects. This will assist in establishing the conditions essential
for determining safety, efficacy and marketability of
pharmaceutical products.As a Senior Director, your technical and
business knowledge will define the strategic direction of
theorganization. You will be able to anticipate and influence
Pfizer's internal and external business. Your foresight and
planning of complex strategic initiatives will be critical in
achieving division and business unit objectives. Through your
expertise, you will inculcate and leverage an environment of
experimentation and creative thinking in theorganization.It is your

Will Achieve ItDevelop innovative or original ideas and lead across
Global Business Unit or Division projects that are multifaceted and
unique in complexityDevelop long-term plans that impact the
achievement of the Enterprise results.Ensure that assigned group
delivers excellent, technically robust statistical input into
designs, analysis and interpretation of clinical trials and/or
observational studies in compliance with relevant regulatory
requirements, Pfizer standards, and best practices.Provide
statistical advice on complex statistical problems arising in
Pfizer projects, especially those involving biomarker development
and their application in clinical trials.Develop, implement and
promote methodologies based on state-of-the-art statistical
research and dissemination of the results both internally and
externally.Align and motivate statistical staff behind the disease
area and asset strategic direction.Coordinate the work of
statisticians on the team in the design and analysis of clinical
trials and drug development programs and the analysis of internal
and external data for internal decision-making, publication and
regulatory response.Manage statistical resourcing within the
disease area to meet portfolio needs.Ensure statisticians on the
team meet time, quality and cost targets.Develop clinical
statisticians, including recruitment, retention and career
development.Implement strategies to ensure that the statisticians
are collaborative, strategic partners with scientific and clinical
colleagues.QualificationsMust-HaveMaster's degree (MA/MS/MBA) and
13+ years of experience.Evidence of creative thought-leadership,
professional presence and scholarship through publications and
presentations.Effective verbal and written communication skills in
relating to colleagues and associates both inside and outsidethe
organization.Broad-based understanding of statistical theory and
its application.Nice-to-HaveDoctoral degree (PhD/PharmD/JD) and 10+
years of experience in statistics or a related field.Experience
with SAS or R programming.Strength in computational skills and
extensive experience with the design, specification and delivery of
statistical computing environments and
platforms/solutions.Expertise with mathematical modelling of
clinical data and statistical inference.#LI-PFEThe annual base
salary for this position ranges from $185,800.00 to $309,600.00. In
addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of
22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our
share based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a
retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days,
paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to
include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in
accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
Salary range does not apply to the Tampa, FL location.Relocation
assistance may be available based on business needs and/or
