Division is integrating advanced computing, AI-driven

is Warfighter Systems, which brings cutting-edge technology

battlefield operations, Anduril's Warfighter Systems organization

are better connected, more lethal, and more resilient.ABOUT THE
JOBWe are looking for our next Director of Operations for the
Warfighter Systems business line (BL). In this role, you will be
responsible for all internal operations of this BL and report to
the Head of Operations, while partnering directly with the General
Manager of Warfighter Systems.Your work will vary from quick-turn
operational fire-fighting, building and redesigning processes, to
leading high-impact strategic projects. This role requires you to
be a trusted partner to each part of the business (product
delivery, engineering, production, and corporate), and to work with
and support the General Manager to drive toward business
success.WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Drive day-to-day business operations for the Warfighter Systems
business line. This will include financial tracking,
staffing/hiring, corporate governance, go-to-market, etc. and
working with cross functional partners across these domains.
Specific examples include:
- Partner with FP&A to track financial health against
division goals, take actions to maintain operating expenses within
budget, and recommend strategies to drive toward margin
targets.
- Partner with Sales teams and Revenue Operations to monitor
pipeline health, identify material changes to forecast, and ensure
production schedules are aligned with third-party and first-party
product demand.
- Understand and communicate the planning and mapping of staffing
to new and current projects, with the ability to develop plans to
address resource constraints that would impact pipeline growth or
international deployments.
- Partner with Growth, Communications, and Marketing to ensure
successful announcements (internal and external), customer events,
trade shows, and new product launches.
- Drive annual planning for Warfighter Systems as part of the
corporate planning cycle and lead content development and planning
to support other business reviews.
- Manage planning and strategy for facilities (including office
space, manufacturing, and testing), secured spaces, and capital
investments.
- Manage the rhythm of internal comms and events that enable
employee engagement and collaboration across the business
line.
- Work with corporate technology to build the underlying data and
system infrastructure for organizational operations and knowledge
management.
- Own and execute on special projects, such as partnering with
the Head of Production on strategies to reduce production variance
costs, completing strategic assessments and studies, and driving
new corporate standardizations (e.g. Export Classification),
etc.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related
field.
- 8+ years of experience in top-tier consulting, investment
banking, or operations at an early-stage start-up.
- Solid technical aptitude and proven ability to understand
technical designs, software development lifecycle, challenges and
risks; ability to work closely and effectively with engineering
teams.
- Strong communication skills across a wide dynamic range, both
written and verbal. Experience interfacing with company leadership
and executives is a must, with a demonstrated ability to cultivate
trust and facilitate meetings for and engage with executives.
Demonstrated ability to translate and articulate thoughts clearly
and simply across a wide range of roles (software engineers,
finance partners, recruiters, cross functional leadership, and
executives).
- Strong emotional intelligence and ability to solve operational
problems in a way that is both data-driven and people-centric.
- High ownership with the horsepower to effectively manage
multiple (6+) large projects and priorities in parallel, at a rapid
pace, and report out on progress regularly.
- U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access
export controlled data.
- U.S. security clearance eligible.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working with engineers and bringing
hardware/software products to market strongly preferred.
- Experience working effectively in a matrix organization
structure.US Salary Range$190,000 - $285,000 USDThe salary range
for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation
factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may
vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education
and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
