We are recruiting for the following position(s):Position Summary:On-call Medical Assistant position available for our Thurston Walk-in Medical Clinic. The Thurston Walk-in Medical Clinic is open Mon-Sat from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. The schedule is 4 days per week, 10 hours per day. This schedule varies for On-Call staff.Ideal candidate will have proven excellent customer services skills, demonstrate enthusiastic and professional demeanor, and excel at multi-tasking while an integral part of the care team ensuring patient flow and providing quality patient care in a safe and timely manner.Education and/or Experience:* This position requires the candidate to have a Washington State MA-Certificate or possess an MA-Interim License and pass the exam within the 90 day probationary period. * Possess and maintain a CPR certification.* Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: administer injections and distribute oral medications under physician's order, assisting the medical providers with charting office visits, performing venipuncture and rooming patients.How to Apply:To apply for this position, complete the online application and click SUBMIT or APPLY.
