**RN - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Providence St. Peter Hospital**

**Required qualifications:**

+ Nursing degree/diploma upon hire

+ Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher within three (3) years of hire

+ A RN with twenty (20) years of RN experience will not be required to obtain a BSN

+ Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington State

+ Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card must be from the following authorized governing bodies:

+ American Heart Association (AHA) - (BLS Provider),

+ American Red Cross (ARC) - (BLS for Health Care Provider), - **or-**

+ Military Training Network (MTN) - (Healthcare Provider) upon hire

+ Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification within 90 days from hire

+ Sugar Temperature Airway Blood pressure Labwork and Emotional responsibility (STABLE) certification within 6 months upon hire

+ One (1) year acute care experience working with the patient population similar to department of hire or completion of the specialty residency located at Providence St. Peter Hospital

**Preferred qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's degree in nursing

+ National certification in area of specialty
