Dietitian - NUTRITION SERVICES WA SPH at Providence St. Peter Hospital







(FTE 0.01 - Day - 0040)







The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for the nutritional care of patients, nutrition education, and promotion of nutrition services within the hospital. The Dietitian collaborates with members of the health care team to provide appropriate medical nutrition therapy to inpatients.







Required qualifications:









  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or Food and Nutrition Science from an accredited school.



  • Advanced degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or Food and Nutrition Science from an accredited school.



  • Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Dietitian Certification



  • Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Nutritionist Certification



  • Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration









    Preferred qualifications:









    • 1 year of experience in acute care.



    • 3 months of experience in medical charting in acute care or long-term care; schooling may be applied as clinical experience.
