Job Description:
The Respiratory Therapist provides care across all age groups,
following physician orders, policies, and protocols.
Responsibilities include administering therapy modalities,
performing patient assessments, blood gas analysis, equipment
setup, and managing ventilators.
Participates in emergency responses, assists with intubations and
bronchoscopies, and ensures thorough shift reports.
Requires completion of an accredited Respiratory Care program, at
least 1 year of experience, and appropriate licensure and
certifications (RCP license, CRT, BLS).
Must demonstrate strong communication, organization, and stress
management skills, with bi-annual CEU requirements.
