Job Description:
Responsible for assisting in the care of patients across all age
groups in the Medical/Surgical unit, ensuring compliance with
policies and standards.
Collaborates with RNs by collecting data, supporting assessments,
and performing assigned duties within scope of practice.
Communicates effectively with patients, families, staff, and
external guests, demonstrating professionalism and compassion.
Performs procedures, documents care accurately, and responds
appropriately to emergencies.
Participates in quality improvement, infection control, and safety
initiatives.
Requirements include a high school diploma, graduation from an
accredited LPN program, current Missouri license, and BLS
certification.
Must have knowledge of growth and development stages, be
self-motivated, and able to lift/move patients as needed.
