Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) – Night Shift Location: Everett, WA Contract Length: 13 Weeks Start Date: July 21, 2025 Shift: 5x8-Hour Nights | 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week Certifications Required: CBSPD or IAHCSMM Experience Required: 2 years (travel experience not required) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) to join the Surgical Services team in Everett, WA. This Level II Trauma Center is known for its fast-paced, high-volume surgical environment with specialties in Neuro, Ortho, Robotics, and Pediatrics . The ideal candidate will be motivated, experienced in inpatient and outpatient surgical settings, and a strong team player. Key Responsibilities Decontaminate, clean, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments. Operate sterilizers including Steam, Sterrad, Steris, and ETO. Follow proper wrapping and labeling procedures for instruments and trays. Utilize Epic and SPM for instrumentation tracking and documentation. Process specialty surgical equipment and scopes (e.g. Robotics, Ortho, Neuro). Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to all safety and sterilization protocols. Participate in a rotating weekend and on-call schedule (2x/month). Ensure quality and efficiency in a teaching-focused environment.
