Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 years minimum in cardiac cath lab and interventional cath lab License: Required state license Certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, CCI RCIS Must-Have: - Cardiac cath lab experience - Interventional cath lab experience Description: Cath Lab Tech position available. Start date is as soon as possible. The shift is 4x10 Days. Daily caseload involves 12-20 cases. Cases may include diagnostic, emergency, and known intervention cardiac cases. Procedures include Impella, Balloon Pump, CTO, Atherectomy, and structural heart procedures such as TAVR and Watchman. Additional duties may involve working with cardiomems, EKOS, loop recorders, and occasional pacemakers. This is a Level II Trauma Center with a total of 571 staffed beds. Scrub color is flexible, except reddish orange is not permitted. Charting is performed using EPIC. Travelers are expected to float between various like units, within their skill set. All travelers are expected to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). Minimum supervisory references are required. Communication devices will be supplied for work-related duties if necessary. Modules are non-billable and should be completed prior to the start. Orientation consists of 40 hours and is considered non-billable.
