Manager RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Case Management
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2
years minimum in inpatient acute care experience is required.
First-timers are accepted. Floating between like units is required.
License: Valid RN license required. Compact licensure is accepted.
Certifications: BLS certification required. CCM or ACM
certification preferred. Must-Have: Inpatient acute care experience
is a hard requirement. Experience with Milliman Guidelines or
InterQual Criteria is a plus. Description: The Care Manager RN
position requires someone with a strong foundation in care
management. The shift is five 8-hour days, with a potential option
for four 10-hour days upon request. Candidates should demonstrate
proficiency in care coordination and discharge planning. This role
involves working in a fast-paced environment with an average daily
census of 30 patients. Candidates should possess knowledge of CMS
regulations, DRGs, and HIPAA guidelines. Collaboration with various
interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and pharmacy,
is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience using an
electronic health record system. Experience in adult medical, ICU,
PCU, and emergency department settings is beneficial. Candidates
must have reliable transportation. Regular and timely attendance is
crucial to meet scheduling needs. Candidates should be open to
