Job Description:

PediaStaff is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to fill a Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) vacancy in a school setting. This position provides an opportunity for an experienced SLP-CCC to contribute to the educational and personal development of children while working within a supportive and dynamic environment. Ideal candidates will have a strong passion for pediatric therapy and a commitment to providing high-quality, individualized care to students. Assess students' communication skills for purposes of treatment planning and documentation. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that cater to student needs and comply with school regulations. Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement speech therapy interventions. Provide treatments and interventions consistent with students' needs and abilities. Monitor and document students' progress and adjust treatments accordingly. Promote a supportive environment where students can enhance their communication abilities. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to provide insights based on professional assessments. Strong understanding of speech-related disorders and treatments. Ability to operate standard speech therapy equipment and tools. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to motivate and sustain student engagement.
