Medical Assistant Location: Seattle, WA Agency: Pride Health Pay: $25 to $29 per hour Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pride Health is hiring for a Medical Assistant to support our client's medical facility based in Seattle, WA . This is a local 3-month contract opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Job Details: Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration. Assist providers with patient examinations, minor procedures, and wound care. Administer injections and medications as directed by the provider. Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and basic laboratory tests. Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and ensure exam rooms are properly stocked and cleaned. Room patients, verify medications and allergies, and collect complete medical histories. Assist with suture removal and dressing changes. Schedule and confirm patient appointments and coordinate referrals and lab services. Update and maintain electronic health records (EHR), such as EPIC. Communicate with patients regarding procedures, medications, and follow-up instructions. Qualifications: Highschool/GED or equivalent. Current, Washington State Medical Assistant Certification. Additional Information: Location: Seattle, WA 98115 Job Type: 3-month Contract Schedule: (Mon – Fri (4 to 5 days/wk.)/ Between 6 am to 6 pm (Up to 40 hrs./wk.) Pay Range/Salary Range: $25-29/hr. *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
