RN - Forensic Nurse Examiner - *Variable Shifts* at Providence
Health and Services summary: Registered Nurse (Forensic Nurse
Examiner) provides independent, protocol-driven medical and
forensic care to adolescents and adults presenting after acute
sexual assault and/or non-fatal strangulation in the Emergency
Department. Role requires graduation from an accredited nursing
program, Washington RN license, BLS certification, and at least one
year of nursing experience; works under FNE/SANE supervisor and ED
provider orders as needed. Position is on-site at Providence St.
Peter Hospital with variable shifts, part-time scheduling, and
benefits/compensation noted. Description Under the supervision of
the FNE/SANE Supervisor and Sexual Assault Clinic Medical Director,
with orders when necessary from the Emergency Department Provider,
the Forensic Nurse Examiner follows protocols to provide
independent, comprehensive care to adults and adolescents
presenting to the Emergency Department with a complaint of acute
sexual assault and/or non-fatal strangulation. Providence

nursing program. Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. 1
