About the Position Join our team as a Locum Nurse Practitioner
specializing in Cardiothoracic Surgery in Tacoma, WA, and make a
meaningful impact in a dynamic inpatient setting. This opportunity

and thoracic cases, including complex coronary artery bypass, valve
surgeries, robotic-assisted thoracic procedures, and emergent
interventions. You will collaborate with a dedicated surgical team
across a variety of procedures, providing critical pre- and
post-operative care, assisting in the operating room, and managing
ICU and step-down patients. This is an exceptional chance for

framework. Required Skills: Current Nurse Practitioner license in
Washington State Proven experience in surgical, cardiothoracic, or
ICU settings Strong clinical assessment and patient management
skills Ability to assist in surgical procedures and perioperative
care Proficiency with EPIC EMR system Excellent communication and
teamwork capabilities Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience with
robotic-assisted thoracic or cardiovascular surgeries Knowledge of
minimally invasive surgical techniques Familiarity with ICU
management and emergent procedures Preferred Education and
Experience: Master's degree in Nursing or higher At least 2 years
of clinical experience in cardiothoracic or surgical nursing Prior
locum or travel assignment experience is a plus Other Requirements:
Completion of credentialing application within 10 days of start
Willingness to work varied hours, including call shifts Ability to
handle emergent and urgent care situations effectively Travel
