Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Hospice Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description: Supplemental Health Care is hiring compassionate and experienced Hospice RNs to provide patient-centered care for individuals and families in Lacey, Washington, and surrounding areas. Qualifications: Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of assignment Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) CHPN certification preferred, not required 1 year of recent experience (within last 3 years) in hospice, home health, palliative care, or acute care Strong knowledge of symptom management, pain control, and hospice documentation (CMS CoPs, Medicare Hospice Benefit) Clear background and driving record; current TB test and immunizations Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance Flexibility for travel, occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts Hospice RN Contract Details: $2,580 - $2,817 per week* Nurse will have a designated territory of coverage 4- 6 patient visits per day (45 - 90 minutes each, depending on need) Travel time included in scheduling All nurses on contract with SHC are paid weekly Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized hospice care plans Deliver skilled nursing care, symptom management, and emotional support Educate patients and families on hospice philosophy and comfort care practices Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to review and adjust care plans Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospice standards Whether you want to travel or stay local, we help Hospice RNs find the perfect fit with leading healthcare organizations nationwide.
