(OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
(COTA) license, and 1 years Certified Occupational Therapy
Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available
for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide
essential support to K-12 students within a public school setting
in Tacoma, WA. This full-time, contract position offers a unique
chance to work closely with students across various grade levels,
contributing to their occupational therapy needs and overall
development. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver occupational therapy
services to K-12 students under the supervision of a licensed
occupational therapist. - Support individualized education program
(IEP) goals and collaborate with school staff, families, and
healthcare providers. - Maintain accurate documentation of therapy
services, progress notes, and required reports. - Participate in
team meetings and contribute to the planning and implementation of
student therapy plans. - Ensure compliance with all state
guidelines and school policies regarding occupational therapy
services. Qualifications: - Active Washington State COTA license is
required. - Completion of OSPI fingerprinting process. - Experience
working within a K-12 educational environment is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate
effectively with students, educators, and families. -
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage caseload documentation
and reporting. Location: Tacoma, WA (K-12 School Setting) Position
Details: - Contract duration: School year through June 12, 2026 -
Full-time: 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week - Immediate start

Compensation for this position ranges from $26.08 to $46.08.
