DSHS DDA Customer Service Specialist 2 -- Are you ready to put your exceptional customer service skills to work? We need your talent and enthusiasm to provide customer service support and assistance. -- -- --Join the Developmental Disabilities Administration today as a Customer Service Specialist 2 in our Tacoma office and be part of our hard-working team of professionals. In this fast-paced environment, you will provide customer service support to DDA staff, providers, clients, and families. -- --Some of what you'll do: * Respond to inquiries and resolve problems * Perform job duties as the primary reception position to answer incoming telephone calls and receive visitors in the office * Accurate and complete data entry * Prepare, organize and archive case files * Ensure electronic and paper client files are organized and updated * Processing incoming and outgoing mail * Provide office support for case managers. --What we're looking for: * Strong oral and written communication skills * Excellent customer service skills * Attention to detail * Strong organizational skills * Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others * Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications * Ability to successfully multitask and manage competing priorities * Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changes. --Who should apply? --Professionals with an associate's degree and two years of clerical experience assisting customers regarding inquiries, complaints, or problems; or a bachelor's degree; or equivalent clerical experience assisting customers regarding inquiries, complaints, or problems in an office setting. -- --To be considered for this opportunity please include the following: * Current chronological resume * Cover letter explaining why you are interested in the job, and your skills and experience that make you the best person for the job * Three professional references with current contact information.
