WAGE STARTING AT $16.00/hourAt Great Wolf, our PBX Operator is the heartbeat of the hotel and is responsible for processing all incoming and outgoing communications in a friendly, professional manner.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesGreets individuals over the PBX in a professional, caring and courteous mannerResponds to guest inquiries and complaints and escalates concerns to appropriate leadershipDispatches guest requests and concerns to appropriate department utilizing HOTSOSAssists potential guests by providing detailed information regarding room types, amenities, pricing, booking reservations and upsellingProvides receptionist service over the PBX, and direct calls to the appropriate department in a professional mannerContacts appropriate personnel or services during emergency situationsAdheres to all resort and department policies, procedures and goalsGeneral office functions as assigned to support the department efficiencyBasic Qualifications & SkillsHigh School Diploma or equivalent (may have current enrollment)Must be flexible regarding schedule, based on business demandsPrevious experience demonstrating strong customer serviceSuccessful completions of a criminal background check and drug screenDesired Qualifications & SkillsPrevious PBX experience, or similar phone/switchboard systemAbility to multi-task and prioritize a variety of tasks with minimal directionProven teamwork skillsEnthusiastic and energeticExcellent communication skillsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 20 lbs.Able to sit and/or stand for long periods of timeEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
