OCED is a multi-technology office responsible for overseeing more than $20B of investment in large scale demonstrations in emerging technologies such as clean hydrogen, carbon capture, advanced nuclear reactors, grid-scale energy storage, industrial emissions reductions as well as demonstrations in rural and socioeconomically disadvantaged regions. We are looking for individuals with a range of skills and interest in large-scale clean energy demonstration projects, particularly in renewable systems, carbon capture and removal, hydrogen, and nuclear energy technologies.
Subject Matter Expert - Senior Technology must have industry experience in the relevant subject matter. This individual will use expertise and/or industry focus expertise in fulfilling the interpreted customer specification.
REQUIREMENTS

• 
  Bachelor's degree and 12 years of clean energy technology experience or a Master's degree and 8 years of clean energy technology experience.
  
  
• 
  Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
  
  
• 
  Clean Energy experience desired but not required.
  
  
• 
  Remote position on eastern time zone.
  
  
  WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.--- Work is mostly sedentary in nature but will require periodic standing and walking and lifting.--- Must have good vision and be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.---
