Job Description:

A company is looking for a Freelance Broadcast Media Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and nurture relationships with key contacts in broadcast media outlets to secure coverage opportunities for clients
Craft compelling story angles and pitches tailored to broadcast audiences for interviews, features, and segments
Monitor broadcast media coverage and analyze metrics to measure the effectiveness of PR initiatives and identify improvement opportunities

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field
10+ years of experience in broadcast media relations, preferably within a PR agency or media organization
Proven track record of securing high-profile broadcast placements and building relationships with media contacts
Strong project management abilities, with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in media monitoring and analytics tools, such as Cision, Meltwater, or similar platforms
