Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical
experience. 2 years of experience with software development in
either Java or C++, or 1 year of experience with an advanced
degree. 2 years of experience building software for data privacy or
security (e.g., identity and access management). 2 years of
experience with cloud security. Experience developing/launching
products/technologies within databases, analytics, big data, or a
related area. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in
Computer Science or related technical fields. 2 years of experience
with data structures and algorithms. 2 years of working on big data
or related cloud scale service with exposure to security related
engineering. Experience developing accessible technologies. About

technology forward. As a Security Software Engineer, you will work
on enterprise security features related to securing databases,
tables, rows and columns with access primitives. You will provide
encryption at rest and transit capabilities.Google Cloud

problems. The US base salary range for this full-time position is
$147,000-$211,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are
determined by role, level, and location. Within the range,
individual pay is determined by work location and additional
factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant

specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring

Responsibilities Write product or system development code. Review
code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure
best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy,
testability, and efficiency). Triage product or system issues and
debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the
impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
Work on enterprise security features related to securing databases,
tables, rows and columns with access primitives. Security
horizontals across Big Query to ensure hardening against external
hackers and resilience to DOS, lateral traversal and other threat
vectors and provide encryption at rest and transit
capabilities.
