iterating closely with end users engaged in tactical operations.
Role Summary We are seeking a Technical Lead - UI to drive the
design, architecture, and implementation of OverWatch, our mission
- critical command - and - control (C2) interface for autonomous
ground vehicles. This role combines hands - on frontend development
with technical leadership, guiding a small team building highly
reliable, performant UIs used in real - world operational en
vironments. The ideal candidate is comfortable making architectural
trade - offs, collaborating across disciplines, and iterating
quickly based on direct user feedback from the field. In this role,
you will: Lead the technical team responsible for developing a
cutting - edge command - and - control (C2) interface for
autonomous ground vehicles. Own the frontend architecture, defining
coding standards, best practices, and design patterns for UI
development. Remain hands - on in the codebase, contributing to
core UI features, architectural components, and critical bug fixes.
Partner closely with UX designers to translate design systems into
high - quality, production - ready implementations. Collaborate
with product managers to shape requirements and break work into
clear, deliverable milestones. Get into the field to observe real
users operating the system in training and operational
environments, rapidly iterating and experimenting based on end -
user needs. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer
science, engineering, or related discipline and 3 years relevant
professional experience; OR 5 years of relevant professional
experience. Experience with React and TypeScript. Desired
Experience & Qualifications: Proven experience leading technical
teams or serving in a technical leadership role Experience with
different frontend development languages and frameworks.
Familiarity integrating with a variety of backend APIs. Experience
working with multiple communication protocols; prior experience
with MQTT is strongly preferred. Prior experience with ATAK/TAK is
