Job Description:
As a Software Development Engineer (SDE) in WHS DataTech, you
will help design, implement, and scale systems that bring
scientific innovations into production. You will work closely with
applied scientists and senior engineers to build reliable services
for AI-powered applications, including LLM-based solutions,
computer vision models, and multi-agent workflows. This role is
ideal for someone who is eager to solve challenging technical
problems, learn advanced AI/ML systems, and contribute to
applications that directly improve safety across Amazon’s global
operations. Key job responsibilities • Contribute to the design and
development of scalable AI/ML systems, including model training,
inference, and workflow orchestration. • Collaborate with applied
scientists and senior engineers to productionize research
prototypes. • Write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code
for distributed systems and services. • Participate in code
reviews, design discussions, and system troubleshooting. • Learn
and apply best practices for building reliable, secure, and
efficient cloud-based systems. • Take ownership of features or
components and drive them from design through deployment. About the

engineers dedicated to building AI-powered solutions that improve

- 3 years of non-internship professional software development
experience - 2 years of non-internship design or architecture
(design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing
systems experience - Experience programming with at least one
software programming language - Bachelor's degree in Computer
Science or Engineering - 3 years of full software development life
cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control
management, build processes, testing, and operations experience -

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
