Job Description:
About the Role: As a Warehouse Associate in the wholesale trade
industry located in MMC, you will play a critical role in ensuring
the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods within
the warehouse. Your primary focus will be to maintain accurate
inventory records, prepare orders for shipment, and support the
overall logistics operations to meet customer demands promptly.
This position requires attention to detail and adherence to safety
protocols to maintain a secure and organized warehouse environment.
You will collaborate closely with team members and supervisors to
optimize workflow and contribute to continuous improvement
initiatives. Ultimately, your efforts will directly impact the
company’s ability to deliver products reliably and maintain high
customer satisfaction. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma
or equivalent. Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels,
count inventory, and complete documentation. Ability to lift and
move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly. Willingness to work
in a physically demanding environment, including standing, bending,
and walking for extended periods. Familiarity with warehouse safety
standards and procedures. Preferred Qualifications: Previous
experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
Certification in forklift operation or other warehouse equipment.
Basic computer skills for inventory management systems. Strong
organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work
effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments
against purchase orders and packing lists. Organize and store
products in designated locations to maximize warehouse space and
accessibility. Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately and
efficiently for shipment to customers or retail locations. Operate
warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and
in compliance with company policies. Maintain cleanliness and
orderliness of the warehouse to ensure a safe working environment.
Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to
management. Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed to
support logistics operations. Collaborate with team members to meet
daily operational goals and deadlines. Skills: The required skills
such as basic literacy, numeracy, and physical stamina are
essential for accurately handling inventory, reading shipment
documents, and performing manual tasks safely throughout the day.
Preferred skills like forklift certification and computer literacy
enhance daily efficiency by enabling the associate to operate
machinery and use inventory software effectively. Organizational
skills help maintain a tidy and systematic warehouse, which reduces
errors and improves order fulfillment speed. Attention to detail is
critical when verifying shipments and preparing orders to ensure
accuracy and customer satisfaction. Collaboration and communication
skills support teamwork and coordination with supervisors and
colleagues to meet operational goals consistently. "This position
