Job DescriptionCACI is seeking a T&E Acquisition Engineer to Provide Marine, Total Ship, Combat Systems and/or Software Test and Evaluation (T&E) support to include; Developing T&E Documentation, T&E Strategies, Schedules, Test Program Resources, Test Range Identification, and DT, OT, and Total Ship Survivability Trial plans and program funding profiles.What Youll Get to Do:Through a US FMS Case, support a Five Eyes countrys Ship Acquisition program addressing T&E activities related to ship systems development and integration, Construction, Post Delivery and Operational Testing activities.Work with a Five Eyes countrys acquisition program office and current Government organizations to replicate relevant functionality from a US Navy Weapons Systems Explosive Safety Review Board (WSESRB) functionality within the broader certification activities. Understanding WSESRB functionality with experience preparing Combat Systems WSESRB briefings and resolving comments, questions and reservations is tegrate T&E inputs from FMS system providers (IWS 4, etc.), the shipbuilder, Combat System Integrator and system vendors into a single overarching T&E planning document.Participate in a broad total ship to ship systems requirements decomposition process.Work with a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) group to ensure predicted performance parameters will be addressed in live T&E events.Assist with the review of Government and contractor developed documentation, spreadsheets, reports, schedules, database produced lists, design drawings, ship specifications, and engineering change requests.Review all products for accuracy and completeness and provide recommendations to improve the quality of those products.Perform T&E assessments evaluating and advising the government on T&E documentation review issues and offer solutions.This position will require candidate to visit and/or work aboard ships at the shipbuilder's facility or ship's homeport.Youll Bring TheseQualifications:Active DOD Secret security clearanceBachelor's Degree in an Engineering or Technical Field is preferred.More than 7 years of experience with the U.S. Navy or DoD Test and Evaluation Programs.Experience with Weapon, Combat and Ship System Safety assessment, Board review and certification processesKnowledge of the Military Standard (MIL-STD) 882E Department of Defense Standard Practice System Safety for assessing Weapon, Combat and Ship System safety risks.Experience in assessing either weapon, combat and ship systems for safety risks.
