Water Treatment Equipment Manager/Project CoordinatorCH2O, Inc. provides specialty water treatment chemical and equipment solutions for a wide variety of commercial, industrial, and agricultural applications throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Europe. We are seeking an experienced water treatment equipment technician to coordinate the inside sales, service, and repair aspects of our operation. The ideal candidate will have experience installing and servicing water softeners, reverse osmosis, demineralizers, filtration equipment, as well as chemical feed and control equipment (such as pH, ORP, and conductivity control equipment). Sound mechanical aptitude is a must, and knowledge/experience working with chlorine, or chlorine dioxide dosing equipment is a plus. Preference will be given to candidates with a bachelor s degree in engineering, chemistry, biology, or a related field. Employees in this position will work primarily at the home office in Tumwater, Washington with occasional field work to support equipment installation and start-up. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:Assembly, installation, start-up, repair, and maintenance of water treatment equipment, such as filters, water softeners, reverse osmosis, and chemical feed and control equipment. Purchase and maintain inventory of parts and equipment.Effectively communicate with customers and field personnel.Maintain quality system documentation.Supervision of equipment team members.Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITYIntermediate knowledge of plumbing.Intermediate knowledge of electrical.Intermediate computer skills.Intermediate knowledge of inventory control.Experience with power and hand tools.Well-developed communication skills. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises equipment team members.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Technical degree or associate s degree (AA) required; Bachelor of Arts or Sciences preferred.
