customer focused Employment Connections Specialist.
Through compassion and patience our WorkSource offices provide
our customers with information about the full range of agency
services and programs and directs them to the appropriate internal
or external resources and support services. Whether in-person or

As an Employment Specialist you will identify components
applicable to the customer's need you then determine eligibility
and/or appropriateness for each program. Your phenomenal computer
and communication skills will be relied upon as you enroll and

This position will resume normal in office work when it is safe
and upon staff returning to WorkSource offices.
- A combination of education and/or relevant experience* totaling
no less than six (6) years.
- A Bachelor's degree in social science, business administration
or related field.
- Two (2) years of professional experience in workforce
development, social or human resource services, public relations,
or professional public contact work.*
- One (1) year of experience as a WorkSource Specialist 2 within
the Employment Security Department, or in an equivalent class with
another state's Employment Security agency.
- Such as: customer service, unemployment insurance, social
services, human resource services, education, public relations,
benefits programs, insurance claims, law enforcement and
