DSHS Registered Nurse 4

We are seeking an experienced RN to be a Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN4) and join our team at Lakeland Village Residential Habilitation Center.

In this role, you'll supervise and direct a team of nurses.

Some of what you'll do

  • Hire, train, evaluate, and counsel staff; coordinate nursing activities
  • Conduct investigations for incident reports and fact-findings in situations as the need arises, which may include initiating appropriate action on subordinate staff
  • Initiate nursing reviews and participate in the statewide mortality reviews
  • Participate as a member of management in the development of facility practice protocols, nursing procedures/policies, and in-service education programs
  • Help ensure cottage environments are clean/safe and resident's rights are not abridged

 

What we're looking for: 

  • Registered Nurses who are eligible to be licensed in Washington State to practice as an RN 
  • Four years of professional nursing experience, including two years in a lead capacity over other nursing personnel. (A bachelor's degree or higher in nursing may be substituted for two years of non-supervisory experience). (One year of full-time experience teaching nursing may be substituted for a year of supervisory experience)
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

  • A professional who brings compassion and the ability to work with a population of people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting
