Join us and make a difference.We are seeking a highly motivated Master or PhD (preferred) candidate with a background in Statistics or related discipline, such as Applied Mathematics, or Engineering majors with significant academic training in Statistics, for a six-month co-op starting in January 2022. The statistician co-op will work with the non-clinical statisticians within Manufacturing Science & Technology to support key functions in commercial manufacturing network and Quality. The work scope includes developing statistical analysis applications or analysis dashboards, and other ad-hoc analyses. At the completion of this co-op session, the co-op will gain knowledge of biological manufacturing and hands-on experience of advanced statistical analysis in pharmaceutical industry.Key Responsibilities- The work scope includes developing statistical analysis R-shiny applications or analysis dashboards, and other ad-hoc analyses.- Build novel Bayesian methods to support non-clinical statistical applications-Bayesian control chart, risk assessment, etc.- Respond to other tasks and priorities as needed and in timely fashion.Qualifications & Experience- Solid knowledge on key statistical concepts.- Strong statistical analysis skills including linear model, hypothesis testing, and multivariate methods, and experience with Bayesian methods.- Proficient in the use of Statistical software (e.g., R, SAS).- Able to work independently as well as effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
