Administrator - Journey. We're seeking an excellent communicator
with strong customer service skills to join us in supporting our
vibrant and diverse agency in its mission, to work as part of a
cohesive team, and to uphold a professional and positive demeanor
while working under tight deadlines as priorities shift.--This
Systems Engineer is responsible for the design and management of
DNR's complex major core IT systems,enterprise applications and
services, and underlying technologies that may include internet
services systems,authentication technologies, databases, and
storage systems over their life cycles. The position utilizes
systems thinking principles to organize bodies of knowledge to
cover issues such as system requirements, reliability, logistics,
coordination of different teams, testing and evaluation,
maintainability, and many other disciplines necessary for
successful system development, design, and implementation. This
position also ensures that all likely aspects of a project or
system are considered including all utility interfaces, and that
they are integrated correctly.The systems engineer is responsible
reviewing and troubleshooting the installation of hardware and
implementation of layered software solutions and products to ensure
that they meet the agencies business requirements. The systems
engineer is responsible for communication, collaboration and
support of help desk, engineering staff, development teams, and
management as required. This position is in a team environment
supporting applications development and production systems
operations.The systems engineer is responsible for project
implementation, capacity planning and engineering new solutions to
provide for optimal system performance. This position works closely
with developers on developing infrastructure and system
architecture to support the agencies business needs.The systems
engineer works in a quality service approach within the work area
to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction, system
integrity, performance and security. Also, the systems engineer
works with other team members to maintain network and server
infrastructure, including routers, switches, network appliances (F5
LTM technologies, firewalls, etc.), windows servers, security
infrastructure, AppXtender, and ArcGIS Enterprise solutions.Please
Note: This position has the flexibility to work remotely part-time,
however the duty station is in Olympia, Washington and the
successful candidate must agree to travel to the office for key
scheduled meetings or as operational needs dictate. Details of

QUALIFICATIONSRequired Qualifications:--
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or
related field; AND--four (4) --years of IT experience in
consulting, analyzing, designing, programming, installing, and
maintaining computer software applications, servers, directing
projects, providing customer or technical support in an enterprise
environment with a wide range of troubleshooting skills involving
systems, including:
- IIS Web server

Qualifications:--
- Experience in custom scripting and code deployment for
infrastructure-related systems, including: --
- C#
- ASP.NET
- Powershell
- Java Script
- SQL Server
- Experience in managing, supporting, and maintaining ArcGIS or
similar third-party solutions in an enterprise environment,
including the deployment of applications and such solutions.
- Experience in managing, supporting, and maintaining a
SharePoint environment, including experience in managing and
maintaining Microsoft SQL server as a backend database server for
SharePoint.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Certified
Solutions Associate (MCSA): Office 365, Microsoft Certified
Solutions Expert (MCSE): SharePoint certification.SUPPLEMENTAL
