Starting salary $5,433 per month JOB DESCRIPTION: This position provides oversight and support to programs around quality assurance and contract compliance to clinical programs within the agency. They work closely with the Chief Clinical Officer, HR Compliance Specialist, and program directors/coordinators to develop and carry out strategies that will improve services and internal processes to meet benchmarks. This position also provides consultation and clinical oversight around incident reporting, records releases and other clinically relevant aspects of support to the Integrated Counseling Division. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field. Requires one of the following Washington State DOH Licenses with a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, preferably 5 years: Licensed Mental Health Counselor Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Licensed Psychologist Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker Must be qualified to be a Child Mental Health Specialist. This requires an MHP with a minimum of one hundred actual hours of specialized training in child development and the treatment of children and youth with serious emotional disturbance and their families; and the equivalent of one year of full-time experience in the treatment of seriously emotionally disturbed children and youth and their families under the supervision of a child mental health specialist. Previous experience in a Community Behavioral Health Agency, preferably as a supervisor or administrator, and have experience with Evidence-Based Practices Licensure as a Chemical Dependency Professional (CDP) is preferred but not required. This position includes the opportunity to gain hours towards a CDP certification. High Level of proficiency in clinical documentation including: assessments, diagnosis, determining eligibility for services, crisis response, etc. Proficiency working within an Electronic Health Record is essential. Ability to successfully work independently as well as within a team. The ability to handle confidential materials in a professional manner. Must possess a high level of self-initiative, efficiency, organization skills and the ability to prioritize daily workload. AGENCY QUALIFICATIONS: The ability to pass an extensive background check with no history of conviction or perpetration of child abuse or physical harm to a child or children or an individual aged 18 years and above who is or may be unable to take care of themselves, or is unable to protect themselves against harm or exploitation by reason of age, illness, trauma or disability, or any other reason. Professional and personal conduct that maintains a personal and professional background so that criminal history remains free from unlawful conduct. Certain crimes may disqualify employees to have unrestricted access to children or vulnerable populations in accordance with Department of Social Health and Services policy and Washington State law. Professional or personal conduct that causes this clearance to be suspended or denied will result in suspension and/or termination of employment. (Pursuant to RCW 43.43.832, 43.43.832(7), 43.43.834, 43.20A.710 and WAC 388-06.). A valid Washington State Driver License with a three-year good driving record. The ability to pass and maintain a clean driving records check. Professional or personal conduct that results in a restricted or denied driving status could result in termination of employment. Proof of personal auto insurance levels at or above a $100,000 combined single limit must be provided once offer of employment is accepted. Must possess, or obtain within 30 days of employment CPR/1st Aid/Bloodborne Pathogen certification. A sensitivity and responsiveness to the cultural differences in the organization's employment and service population. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work as part of a team. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED TASKS: Obtain training in the agency's models and Best Practices and be familiar with all state and federal regulations as well as contract requirements and agency policies and procedures for all clinical programs. Be familiar with industry standards and ethical guidelines to provide consultation concerning quality and compliance Provide internal regular audits through file reviews and Electronic Health Record reports to ensure quality, fidelity and compliance. Report findings and collaborate with program directors and CCO to carry out needed systemic changes. Take the lead on all external audits by funders and regulatory agencies including being the liaison and creating and implementing any needed improvement plans. Produces trainings as needed and appropriate to carrying out quality, fidelity and compliance improvement efforts. Work closely with the CCO to carry out Continuous Quality Improvement efforts quarterly. Attend meetings as requested to collaborate and carry out duties. Produce reports and presentations by collecting and analyzing information. Assists the data team in maintaining and implementing the Electronic Health Record to meet the needs for quality, fidelity and compliance monitoring. Upholds a strict level of confidentiality of participants and staff while performing job duties in compliance with all HIPAA and CFR 42 part 2 regulations. Maintain high quality work standards in a fast paced and ever changing environment. Other duties as assigned. This position is full time with a comprehensive compensation package which includes and is not limited to competitive salary starting at $5,433 per month, medical including Teladoc access, dental, vision and a generous 403(b) Retirement Plan.
